The Burgundy is a true winter-white color that is warm and bright and is a great neutral to work with greys, blacks, and winter whites. Natural water and stain resistance and easy maintenance by just brushing off any dirt with water make this a durable winter fabric. The SMILEY is known as a car coat that is both elegant and a bit dressier. Meant to be worn over jackets/sweaters, we have adjusted the sizing to accommodate the preferred US fit (i.e. not quite so oversized as the Europeans prefer). This beautiful women’s coat regulates body temperature perfectly due to the tiny air chambers that are created when the wool is subjected to heat and then shrunk, producing boiled wool. The A-line cut, rounded pockets, and stand-up collar define this elegant coat. The bottom button is set lower than the rest, offering a unique design detail that adds visual interest. It can be easily accessorized with a scarf, pin, or choker necklace of pearls, further enhancing the unique European flair of this designer coat. Made in Austria. Oversized so we recommend and have adjusted sizes one to two sizes down for a good fit, still with room to layer. If a tall size 8 or chest is your largest measurement, size 38 is needed, if under 5ft 5 inches, then size down to 36.
