| This classic, boiled wool coat from Geiger of Austria is a favorite every year, and the lowered price means it is an exceptional value for Fall 2009/10. Same weight as the 65510, but this year the rich, royal blue color, with purple undertones, makes this jacket a standout. The car coat length of 31.5 inches is an ideal, above-the-knee length. The 65220 is slightly over sized for use as an outerwear jacket, generous enough to layer (we have adjusted sizes accordingly). This beautiful woman’s coat regulates body temperature perfectly due to the tiny air chambers that are created when the wool is subjected to heat and then shrunk, producing boiled wool. The boxy cut, rounded pockets and stand-up collar define this elegant coat. The bottom button is set lower than the rest, offering a unique, design detail that adds visual interest. It can be easily accessorized with a scarf, pin, or choker necklace of pearls, further enhancing the unique European flair of this designer coat. Made in Austria. |
